The master of science degree in industrial engineering allows students to customize their course work while working closely with industrial engineering faculty in a contemporary, applied research area.
Faculty members are currently conducting applied project and research work in the areas of contemporary manufacturing processes/systems, ergonomic/biomechanical analysis, logistics and supply chain management, sustainable design and development, systems engineering/product development, and systems simulation. The MS degree in industrial engineering will be awarded upon the successful completion of a minimum of 45 quarter credit hours, the equivalent of nine courses and a 9-credit-hour thesis.
